Sweet potato cake recipe
- 500 g sweet potatoes
- 30 ml neutral oil
- 30 ml rum
- 1 C. vanilla extract
- 3 egg yolks
- 90 g sugar
- 1 pack of vanilla sugar
- 100g flour
- chocolate sauce
Peel, dice and boil or steam sweet potatoes. After cooking, turn them into a puree.
Pour in the oil, rum and vanilla extract and mix well. Add egg yolks one at a time, mixing between each addition.
Add sugar, vanilla sugar and flour and mix until the mixture is smooth.
Pour the dough into a greased mold and bake for 35-40 minutes at 200°C. Check readiness with a knife.
Let cool, then refrigerate until serving. Serve with chocolate sauce and chocolate chips for even more fun.
Store this sweet potato pie in the refrigerator, but let it rest for 15 minutes at room temperature before tasting it to enjoy all of its flavors!
